BREAKING: Witness Drops Bombshell Testimony About What Happened Before Austin Metcalf’s D3ath

Witness testimony might’ve just buried his case.

Things are not looking up for Karmelo Anthony and his defense.

Jurors in the Karmelo murder trial returned to court Friday. This was after they heard a heartbreaking 911 call and watched surveillance footage from the incident. 19-year-old Anthony has pleaded not guilty to murder in the April 2025 st@bbing d3ath of Metcalf and maintains he acted in self-defense. The case has drawn national attention and intense public scrutiny since the fatal encounter.

Amid the trial, a school staff member outside the court gave a minute-by-minute account of what he saw, as captured by stadium security cameras. The only people it matters to are the jurors who will have to decide his fate.

Not helping matters is the witness testimony on Friday.

On Friday, the NY Post reported that Karmelo Anthony was asked 15 times to leave the tent that he was not supposed to be in. A 17-year-old witness stated he and at least six others were under their school’s team tent when he saw Anthony in their area wearing the opposing Frisco Centennial High School gear.

Memorial students started telling Anthony, “You probably shouldn’t be here, you need to leave our tent,” the witness recalled. The 17-year-old Frisco Memorial High School student remains nameless because of his age.

Several teammates asked Karmelo Anthony to leave around 15 times, including Metcalf. “Touch me and find out,” Anthony responded inside Kuykendall Stadium. The Teenager testified that Metcalf gave Anthony a “minor pushing,” and Anthony st@bbed Metcalf as a result.

Leading up to the moment, Karmelo allegedly had his hand in his open backpack on his lap, but the students all thought he was bluffing, the witness said. Once the st@bbing occurred, Anthony tossed the knife and fled down the stands and onto the track.

Metcalf fell to his back, stood back up, and lifted his shirt. With a frightened look, he saw his bleeding chest, the teen claimed. “I think he said, ‘Oh my God,’” he recalled Metcalf saying.

Despite social media claims, the teen denied that the Memorial students “ganged up” on Karmelo Anthony, instead claiming that Anthony “created a problem.”

Anthony’s lawyer claimed Metcalf provoked Anthony and that the st@bbing was in self-defense.
