In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry discloses that his wife, Meghan Markle, upset Princess Catherine during a tense exchange. He maintains Princess Catherine had recently given birth when Meghan offended her.
Meghan purportedly told Princess Catherine that she must have “baby brain” during a phone conversation in the lead-up to the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding.
According to the account, Catherine reportedly told Meghan, “We’re not close enough for you to talk about my hormones”. Harry claims that Meghan apologized, but William “pointed a finger” at her, saying, “Well, it’s rude, Meghan. These things are not done here,” to which she responded,”If you don’t mind, keep your finger out of my face.” It comes after Prince Harry’s savage nickname was exposed by royal insiders.
Meghan Markle and Catherine are believed to no longer be communicating; it appears this hasn’t always been the situation for the royal sisters-in-law.
After Harry and Meghan withdrew from their roles as senior royals in 2020, relations between the couple and William and Catherine have deteriorated.

Previously called the “fab four”, Harry and William transformed from being tight-knit siblings to distant – in part due to the publication of Harry’s book Spare. However, relations were already somewhat strained before this.
Princess Catherine and Meghan had some type of disagreement prior to the wedding, with Meghan asserting that the Princess of Wales was dissatisfied with the fit of the bridesmaid dress on her daughter, Princess Charlotte.
This allegedly sparked a significant dispute between the two, which was eventually settled when the dress underwent alterations.

While this initial disagreement may have signaled the beginning of a strain in their relationship, it appears the dynamic wasn’t always contentious.
During their engagement interview in 2017 at their home, Nottingham Cottage, on the Kensington Palace estate, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were eager to commend Harry’s brother and sister-in-law for welcoming the duchess into the family.
Harry told the interviewer, “William was longing to meet her, and so was Catherine. So, you know, being our neighbors, we managed to get that in a couple of – well, quite a few times now, and Catherine has been absolutely..”
Meghan then completed his thought with a brief but meaningful three-word statement. She said. “She’s been wonderful.”
