Canadian legend, The Great Kasaki, passed away this week. He was just 48 years old at the time of the tragedy.
Kasaki (real name Anthony Fujimura) began his career in 2005. His last documented match took place at a Thrash Wrestling event in October 2023.
He became a regular in All-Star Wrestling, winning the Tag Team and Cruiserweight championships on multiple occasions.
All-Star Wrestling Announced The Great Kasaki’s Death

On Thursday, All-Star Wrestling announced the tragic news, posting a video tribute and a heartfelt message on X.
“ASW is profoundly disheartened to inform our fans that we have lost an ASW legend this week, The Great Kasaki.
“Sometimes The Weight on one’s shoulders cannot be understood. Anthony’s sense of humor, creativity, passion and mentorship skills will not be replicated. Let us look back and enjoy the greatness that was The Great Kasaki here. We send our most heartfelt wishes to Anthony’s Family and Friends – we will not forget you, our friend. #TheGreatKasaki”
Thrash Wrestling also shared its condolences.
“Rest in peace, The Great Kasaki. Thrash Wrestling will always remember your mentoring and the love and support you always showed us. You were a true friend.”
