A sh00ting near the England World Cup base in Kansas City, Missouri, left nine people injured.
According to The Athletic, police responded to a sh00ting incident on Troost Avenue, between England’s training base and team hotel.
The publication reported that the sh00ting took place on Saturday morning.
“Kansas City Police Department captain Jake Becchina confirmed to The Athletic that officers had been dispatched after sh0ts were heard being fired and arrived to find a large crowd dispersing,” The Athletic reported. “Three adult females had sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.”
The outlet added, based on subsequent information, that nine adults had been taken to various hospitals, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
England Players Were Not At World Cup Training Base At The Time Of The Sh00ting

The England players and staff were not around at the time of the incident. The team is currently preparing for the World Cup in Palm Beach, Florida.
They beat New Zealand 1-0 in a friendly in Tampa on Saturday. They will play Costa Rico in another warmup match on Wednesday before returning to KC on Saturday.
The squad will remain in the city for the duration of the tournament, which begins on June 11.
They kick off their Group L campaign against Croatia on June 17.
