One catwalk is going to bring her an insane amount of cash.
Penny Lane, a British supermodel, walked the catwalk confidently during the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week. Despite having millions of followers before the event, few had heard of or seen her.
She certainly made the greatest impression ever. Her confidence became viral online, with people praising her poise, elegance, and the way she bounced down the runway.
Lane started her modeling career later than others. She was 31 years old when she won the 2023 SI Swimsuit Model Search and was named Rookie of the Year in 2024. Age ain’t truly but a number as she stole the show amid so many other gorgeous models.
The most common sentiment was positive, with many people calling it a celebration of natural beauty.
Penny Lane May Have Made a Tremendous Amount of Money Over Her Catwalk

Renowned English model Penny Lane made sure that all eyes remained on her during her ramp walk at the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway. Clips of the swimsuit model have millions of views. Having eyes on her is just the start of things to possibly come for her.
Per Ladbbible, “she could earn £3,000 a day from Instagram after her follower count jumped to well over 500,000.”
Aside from her debut, she is a holistic health coach and model. Following her 2023 Swim Search win and Rookie of the Year title, she went on to feature in 2025 in snowy Switzerland and in 2026 in Botswana.
Outside of SI, her high-fashion portfolio includes major campaigns for brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, Intimissimi, and SKIMS.
In addition to Penny Lane, the SI event also featured Alix Earle, Nicole Williams English, Brooks Nader, and Tiffany Haddish, among other fan-favorite models. She may have been the least known, but she came out as the real winner.
