SAD NEWS: The Voice star has tragically pΛssed awΛy, leaving behind a final emotional message that has brought fans to tears.

The Voice star Kim Yoon-seol di3d on Sunday, June 7, at the age of 28. No cause of death has been publicly disclosed, but the star’s funeral has already taken place, and she was buried in Seongnam Yeongsaengwon. The sad news was confirmed by a friend on social media who wrote: “Seol has gone to heaven.”

They claimed they couldn’t announce the news sooner because the Kim’s phone and other contact accounts had been deactivated. “Her phone and other things were all locked, so I couldn’t share anything, so I’m sharing this on Instagram. Please come visit so that Seol isn’t lonely,” they concluded. Lead vocalist of the group Takapi, Kim Jae Guk, also shared the news on social media on June 8.

“Kim Yun Seol, who appeared with me on Sing Again 4 as the sixth singer, has passed away. May she rest in peace,” they wrote.

The star first found fame in 2013 when she released the single Man and Woman 2013 and won the Mnet reality program Boys Kids.

She went on to appear on The Voice Korea 2020 and the popular singing reality show I Can See Your Voice series 7, as well as Sing Again.

She had been silent on social media since May 23, when she posted a poignant note on Instagram. “I am now singing again under my own name. I hope that wherever my songs reach, a little happiness will reach as well,” she shared.

She is not the first star from The Voice franchise to di3 tragically young this year. Dylan Carter, who appeared in the US version of the show, sadly di3d aged just 24 in a horror car crash in April.

The country singer, who hailed from South Carolina, rose to fame on series 24 of the reality show in 2023, and his death was announced by the nonprofit he founded to help women with cancer, The Local Voice.

In February The Voice UK contestant Dean Franklin has di3d at the age of 36. The star, who was mentored by Paloma Faith, on the show in 2016, had been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer eight weeks before his death.

His family confirmed the news on Facebook writing: “I never wanted to share this news with you all so soon. As a family, we are truly heartbroken to announce that our precious boy, who fought so courageously for over 8 weeks and 3 days, passed away at 21.39pm last night…
