The Hawkstone Farmers Choir have been named as the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2026. The act was delighted as Geordie duo Ant and Dec announced the good news.
The final saw Matty Juniosa, Anastasiia and Salsa, LMA, Fabian Fox, Liwei Yang, Ted Hill, Sonny Green, Rafferty Coope, Celestial and The Hawkstone Farmers Choir fight it out for a final time in the hopes of bagging themselves the £250,000 cash prize along with a place in the Royal Variety Performance. The final three came down to Celestial, Anastasiia and Salsa and Hawkstone’s Choir. The dog act was sent home first before the Choir were crowned as the winners, also beating the drone act. The farmers took hold of the mic as they thanked everyone for voting for them. They all cheered and hugged each other on stage as they celebrated the huge win.

The choir of agricultural workers from across the country sang their joyous original song ‘This is Home’, which brought the judges and the audience at the Hammersmith Apollo to their feet. Judge Simon Cowell described the singers as “Absolutely stunning, heartfelt and joyous” and Amanda Holden told the group, “I’m enormously proud of you all”.
But fans at home were split on the decision. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan fumed: “These results are just an absolute joke #bgt.”
Another echoed: “The state of this country allowing a choir full of Clarkson’s farmers win #BritainsGotTalent Absolute fix. This might be the death nail for #BGT.”
One more raged: “The talent this year and the f***ing farmers get it with the help of Jeremy f***ing Clarkson. Absolute con. I’ve just wasted my life with this series #BGT.”
However, others were over the moon. One viewer wrote: “The correct act won tonight #bgt,” as another added: “Delighted Hawkstone Farmers Choir won #BGT I’ve wanted a choir to win for years.”
The choir were heavily backed by the cast of Clarkson’s Farm, including Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper. Jeremy had been spotted in the audience clapping along as they sang their hearts out.
The Who Wants To Be a Millionaire host took to Instagram and issued a desperate plea to fans just hours before the Britain’s Got Talent final.
He began: “Hello, everybody. In about 10 minutes, I’m going to be heading off to London because the Hawkstone Farmer’s Choir are performing in the final of Britain’s Got Talent”. After taking a big sigh, he admitted: “S**t, I want to be there.”
Clarkson simply captioned the post: “Please vote for them. It matters.”
