BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge KSI has broken down in tears live on air as he revealed his own personal heartbreak following a “magical” performance from an act.
The fourth semi-final of the ITV show commenced tonight but one participant certainly tugged on the judges heartstrings.
Poet Sonny Green took to the stage to speak some hard-hitting words about his relationship with his own sons – who made a surprise appearance on stage.
Sonny bought tears to fan’s eyes as he addressed his sons saying: “You ain’t ever too old to get a cuddle of your dad.
“And I’ll never be too old to get a cuddle of my sons.”
Elsewhere in his poem he said: “They say the world is your oyster. So give it a crack and find out what each country has inside. I hope it’s pearls, my boy, of wisdom and of joy.
BGT fans spot KSI ‘choke’ during semi-final – and fellow stars don’t notice
“And you make memories that no one can ever take away.”
Once Sonny finished his emotional poem, the camera panned to YouTube star KSI and he could be seen breaking down.
A tear rolled down his face as the audience gave Sonny a standing ovation.
The judges were hugely impressed by his performance with singer Alesha Dixon saying it was “magic.”
By the time it was KSI’s turn to give his feedback, he was still sobbing and Alesha rubbed his arm in support.
It seems the star really resonated with the poem as he opened up on his regrets as a son.
He said: “It really hit me.
“I know my relationship with my dad isn’t the best, so hearing those words, it makes me really think about what I need to improve on.
“I need to do better as a son. It just really hit me you know, amazing.”
Fans were quick to comment on the touching moment on social media.
One fan penned: “I think this [Sonny’s poem] made everyone cry.”
Another fan wrote: “I’ve never seen KSI cry on BGT before That was very moving.”
Amanda Holden was also spotted wiping her tears as they spilled down her face.
While Simon has been quite the “harsh” judge tonight according to fans, he loved Sonny’s performance and ended up pressing the Golden Buzzer – sending him straight through to the final.
